Sokui mirrors

inspired by Japanese summer fans, the mirrors are the first set of home accessories for the Sokui collection of sustainable furniture made using the traditional Japanese technique of gluing wood with rice. Designed in collaboration with Huy Pham.

A sheet of polished stainless steel replaces glass, which allows for a bezelless fitting and grants protection from superstitions involving 7 year long misfortunes.
